Sad loss of my father-in-law, and remembrances of Mom

Hello, dearest friends, I am back after the sad loss of a wonderful man, my father-in-law. He was 92 - he was always kind to me and I will miss him greatly. I also lost my mom in December, from colon cancer - she bought me this tree a year ago and told me to remember her when it bloomed....

Mother's Days is coming up and I encourage all of you who are blessed to still have your mother with you to cherish your times together.

I have been trying my hand at some embellished Mother's Day (or for any day) jars for my shop. Take a look. Vintage jars are so much fun to decorate!

Melissa, your bottles turned out fantastic. Sorry for the loss of your father-in-law. My Mom has been gone for 7 years. I, too, encourage those who still have their moms, to cherish every day. I still miss her, and wish I could call her. I feel your heart...Your little tree is beautiful. Hugs, Kathleen

Hi Melissa, :)
It's so mice to meet you my new friend. I really appreciate you visiting and entering my RED giveaway. You're always welcome to visit anytime. Please do!

I'm so sorry about the losses in your family. You are exactly right about Mother's Day. It passes by so quickly with our parents aging it gets sad to see. I miss my family so much since we are military and far away from Florida...sigh.

Have a blessed Sunday.
Melissa :)

I love your jars and echo your sentiments regarding mothers and daughters still living. All should be so lucky and grateful to have them and to show them every chance they get.

May the hand of blessings hold you up in your time of loss(es). Mother's Day is still the hardest day of the year for me, along with my son's death ... the pain will lessen with time, but the memories will forever run deep in love.

I'm so sorry about your Mom....my Mum passed away this past December too. It's really tough and this Mother's Day was no exception. I sure miss her.

I think I may have gotten that type of rose from QVC.....I'm sooooooo not a rose gal. I love them so much, but they don't like me. I'm going to try this one. Hopefully, it will be a success!

Blessings!
