Upcycle Project for the Garden

Very old chipped Blue Ridge Pottery teacups with broken handles are bonded to a heavy iron candelabra which was painted bright celery green.  It can be used in the garden as a bird feeder or a planter for small vining plants

Flea Market Find

A vintage wood soda crate from Roberson's Beverages Inc. It has a nice patina with residual original paint in a lovely 'jadite' green.

My latest creation - altered tin can embellished with vintage papers, seam binding, dotted netting fabric and rhinestone finding.

A Repurposed Wood Box

I repurposed this old wood box by painting and distressing it, adding some pretty paper and a lovely image from The Graphics Fairy, a sweet little girl with a darling calf, then bonding a vintage finding to the front. It can be used to store keepsakes, vintage linens, etc.

Embellished Bottles

I've been working on some embellished bottles.  I did an Easter bottle with a vintage French postcard image, lace and jewelry findings (front and back view shown), and a "Jeanie" bottle, which has sheet music of "Jeanie with the Light Brown Hair", vintage topaz jewelry findings and lace. 

Tiny Collectibles

Thought I'd post a pic of some small things I have collected - a tiny metal vase with shell flowers, a petite chalkware frame, tiny cup, pink jeweled box, a tiny shaker that I use for stickpins, and a tramp art tin chair....

Mid Century Modern Dollhouse Furniture

I found some old mid century modern dollhouse furniture, painted it charcoal gray, added cushions and decoupaged the coffee table with an image from The Graphics Fairy.
