Piney Rose - Silver Sunday #4

My silvers for today are:

1. A silverplate tidbit tray

2. A pretty square silver box I found in a junk store. I love the textured design on it. I have no idea what it was used for.

Both your pieces are lovely. I bet the box held cookies or candy at one time. Happy SS!

Hi Melissa,
I really like your pieces you're showing today. I'll bet the tin was for cookies. I think my mother had one she received as a gift at one time. It's really neat...and great for storage! Thanks for sharing!

I'm so glad you were encouraged to go for it! All they can do is say no. Which they don't actually do:) not every one of my prjects os going to be accepted. Just keep trying. Also, think about donating a creation to rebecca Sowers Etsy shop Haiti by Hand. Info on how to raise money is in a post at this blog. Haitibyhand.typepad
