Good Morning. I know losing a parent is so difficult. What wonderful memories you must have. I will be thinking of you today. May God comfort you and keep you.
Nothing like the Holidays to make us aware of what & who we don't have. My Mother passed away on Dec. 6-1996. Seems like yesterday & I thought I would never get through Christmas that year. I found I did, in a fog, but I did. We love them & we loose them..... Life is hard but love the memories you have. I do.... Love, Marilyn
Very sweet. The first year is the hardest. My father died when I was 9 and just remember the first things without him being the hardest. This was lovely! Hugs, Lisa
Thinking of you, M! I heard a message in church Sunday about heaven. Admittedly, our Pastor shared that HEAVEN isn't what you normally hear preached on a Sunday during the Christmas Season.
He said that if we ONLY KNEW how wonderful it was and how those who have passed on before us LOVE It, then that knowledge may lesson our grief here on earth.
I pray this is how it is for you.
Thinking of you this day. Lifting you up to the Most High and asking God to bless you an extra measure today.
Oh Melissa, as you know my deceased MOM's birthday was about a week ago. I can only imagine your sorrow and pain. Maybe our Mothers have met, and are so pleased we, too, know each other. My heart and prayers go out to you. Hugs, Kathleen
My name is Melissa and I live with my husband of 27 years. We have 2 grown children, Carly and Will. I have a deep love for the mountains and my Appalachian heritage. My passion is decorating with and upcycling vintage items, and going to estate sales, yard sales, flea markets. I offer vintage finds in my Etsy shop, PineyRoseDesigns
