Displaying sparkling jewels

After spending a nice family weekend in Gatlinburg, TN, it is raining today - one of those hot potato soup and cornbread days. Since there is no sunshine today, to add a little sparkle, here is a pic of some shiney jewels and rhinestone buttons displayed in a silverplate relish dish.

Hi Melissa!, It's a cold and wet day here today here too. I was forced to turn the heat on and made soup and bread pudding for dinner. I am just a country girl or suburban girl when it comes to the big NYC. I went with a girlfriend but I think next time I could go by myself. But I don't think I will ever master the subways...not that I want too. :) How are things at your website? Things got slow for me in August but sales are starting to come in again. Are you still at the French Cupboard? Does that help sales? Hope you have a super great week. I am listing some more silver dresser boxes today. :) Lynn Love your bling!

Hey Melissa!
Oh girl...you know I love this idea...that sparkle "is" so pretty, and I love that vintage jewelry.... but I'm thinking I really want some of that potatoe soup and cornbread...yum! Will you pretty please get me some Plleeeaaazzze! I'll wait right here! LOL!

I'm soo glad that you had a great time with your family in Gatlinburg Tn. Oh, it Sounds wonderful...I wonder if the leaves are changing there yet. I have been dreaming of living up there all week long. I have even been looking at cabins for sale online. I love that place, and I'll have to tell you, that I left a piece of my heart up there in that Great Smoky Mountains National Park, back in June 06...one day I hope to return there, and hopefully never have to leave...You are so lucky that you are able to visit there for the weekend... Hope you are having a great week!
Big Hugs,
Queenie
