Bottles 'n birds

Here are some art bottles I have been working on, a couple with vintage wallpaper, and I also used some vintage jewelry. Also, you know how I love birds - I found some more bird plaques, which I have painted a creamy white. Feeling kinda blah today, we're all tired due to arising extra early - my baby started high school this week. Hope you all are having a great week!

Oh Melissa! your bottles are beyond wonderful!!!!

I understand your feelings about kids and school. We're taking my number one baby to visit a college tomorrow. She's going to be a senior this year. When did that happen???

Your bottles are beautiful as are the birds. I got to enroll my granddaughter in 1st grade here this year, she doesn't start until the last week in August. Hope your baby likes high school!

Hey Melissa!
Those are sooo pretty and unique, hanging the vintage jewelry on bottles, is such a lovely way to showcase it! You did such a great job with these! I love to decorate old bottles with vintage jewelry too, and I have a few around the house here and there. I love 'em!
I hope you have a great evening!

My blog has been growing like gang busters and while that is great I haven't had much time to visit my blog friends. I decided I needed to make some time for some visits, cuz I just missed everyone too much. It looks like you've been busy as well. Come back over for a visit as well.

Hi Melissa! Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving your kind comments!

Your bottles are beautiful, but what really caught me eye are those gorgeous bird plaques! I've been wanting to put something on the bulkheads above my kitchen cabinets and thought I was relegated to some kind of wood ornament from Home Depot. And then I saw those plaques! Thank you so much for the inspiration!

Really, I think we must be kindred spirits. I too am a medical transcriptionist, I LOVE birds (I have three parrots),and I collect egg vases and silver trinket boxes! We really must sit and have tea sometime! LOL!!

Your blog is beautiful and I'll be back to visit often . . . I can't wait to see what you come up with next!

Blessings,
