Some finds to share
I've been away awhile, I know - I lost my precious grandfather who was 98 and had grown weary. He kept his keen wit and was recalling stories of long ago right up until the very last day or two before his death, and he would always light up with joy each and every time I visited. I will miss him until we meet again...
Here are a couple of recent yard sale finds to share - a fabulous round silver framed vintage doily. I've never seen a frame like this - have any of you? It looks like the rim of a silver tray.
Also, a floral pitcher - it must have had a matching basin at one time. I love the floral design - roses and lilacs.

Bottles 'n birds
Here are some art bottles I have been working on, a couple with vintage wallpaper, and I also used some vintage jewelry. Also, you know how I love birds - I found some more bird plaques, which I have painted a creamy white. Feeling kinda blah today, we're all tired due to arising extra early - my baby started high school this week. Hope you all are having a great week!

My swap package came!, and a silver box collection...
Look what I found at the door today when I came home - my swap package from the Seaside Swap 2009 - my swap partner, Clara, put together these lovelies, and I love them every one.
Thank you Clara!
And my litte silver box came today - I ordered it from Queenie's Vintage Finds after finding Queenie's lovely blog. She's a sweetie. How does it look with my collection of silver pretties?

My Sunday projects, and announcing a giveaway at Melissa's Heart and Home
I hope you are all having a blessed Sunday. After church we went to lunch and I came home to finish these latest projects. The picture had been an ugly brown and had some hideous 70s prints in the 3 sections. Now look at it - I love how it turned out. And the other is a ceramic canister - I painted the lid and the scoop (they were silver) and added the rose decals. Wouldn't it be just perfect in the bath for bath salts? I'm gonna add these to my webshop. I am going to try to remember to take some BEFORE pictures of my projects from now on.....
Also, you must scurry on over to Melissa's Heart and Home for a fabulous giveaway!!! The winner will be chosen on Friday.
