Everything's coming up lilacs

Is there anything more heavenly than the scent of lilacs? My two lilac bushes are blooming profusely. Here's a few blooms...

and my niece, Savannah, and family were visiting this weekend - no matter how many times I tried, at different angles, she wouldn't open her eyes for the pic. Isn't she a doll?

Also a pic of lilac glasses and tray for sale on my website.

Have a wonderful, lilac-y day!

Ooooh i just planted a lilac tree this very weekend. A dear friend gave it to me for my birthday and I couldn't wait to get it in the ground.

Thanks for having me. I'm going to check out more of your blog.

Hi Melissa,

The thought of lilacs and their wonderful scent really has me dreaming of late spring/early summer. It will be a while yet before the lilacs are in bloom where I live. Will give me something to look forward to.

Hope all is well with you and that you are having a wonderful week.

Ohh... I can almost smell those gorgeous lilacs Melissa. My little lilac bush is too small to bloom yet but my neighbor (who is going away for 3 weeks today) called and said to come pick all I want off of her bushes. She has huge bushes so I will scoot over their this weekend. Can't wait to get a bunch in the house. Thanks again for helping me! xo Lynn

Your lilacs are so YUMMY! Do you know about the Hulda Klager Lilac gardens? We LOVE to visit them (and tour the little historic house on the property).
Thanks for sharing!
