Yard Sale Find BEFORE & AFTER, Plus, a fabulous giveaway at Bella Rosa Antiques

I wanted to post about a great giveaway at Bella Rosa Antiques - Jillian is celebrating her shop's 5-year anniversary.  Giveaway is through June 7th, so hurry on over!

Here is a yard sale find from this past weekend, a cute wooden chair that I wanted to spruce up to place in my flower garden.  I painted it using chalk paint in an emerald green, then added a bit of Martha Stewart's Black Coffee antique stain.  I like how it turned out. 

A Friendship Giveaway!

Aaarrggg!! - I have had computer issues - had to get a whole new computer, keyboard and everything! A very unexpected expense.....I'm behind on my blogging, and I aim to catch up - starting right now. The last pic is my recent upcycle project. I took an old silverplate tray and bonded it to an ANCIENT wooden lamp base that I picked up long ago at a junk sale, painted the entire thing with French Lilac paint. Doesn't it make a lovely birdbath or birdfeeder for the garden?
